First of all, unfortunately there is no new dredging news. Hopefully I will have something in the next day or two. But on a good note, the lake is rising fast. Four foot drafts can now access the lake. So if you want to get your boat (four foot draft or less) back in the water please let me know ASAP so I can get you on the crane list. I am focusing on boats with trailers first so we have some trailers to utilize for those that don't. But if you do not have a trailer and are interested in getting in please let me know and I will see what we can work out. I met with Dave Ghizzone (our cruise boat concessionaire) last night. They are doing their first cruise this Saturday. This is a big deal for him and us. For him it means he can finally get out again and start generating revenue. For us it means that the lake is rising and we may be able to salvage a sailing year out this season. NOAA is still predicting a wetter-than-normal spring and summer for us and I have just looked at the charts. The dreaded high pressure that has kept storms out of Utah for the last month is finally weakening and there are several storms lined up in the Pacific. This could help our snowpack. In talking to Ghizzone last night I heard that they still have some empty seats for Saturday night's sunset cruise. If you haven't been on the lake in some time this may be a great opportunity to get out on the water, have an incredible dinner and watch a wonderful sunset on the lake. I don't know how much the cruise/dinner is. But if you are interested give them a call. 801-989-7281 One last note. Many of you have begun to work on your boats in preparation for this season. Most of you have been fantastic about cleaning up every day when working on your boats. But we have been finding some debris such as sandpaper, chemical containers and plastic around the boats. Also we have had some people trip on extension cords when leaving the office building. Please make sure everything is cleaned up every day and that extension cords and other tools are not tripping hazards or obstruction to traffic. Pray for rain and mountain snow. But no more valley snow. I'm tired of plowing Dave
