North Antelope Island Forecast
High pressure will dominate Friday and Saturday bringing very warm and above average temperatures.  Winds will likely be very light north to calm.  Weber Canyon drainage winds will likely be a player on the north end of Antelope Island Saturday night and into morning bringing moderate east winds.   Seas on the lake will generally be mild to calm except when the Weber Canyon drainage winds are flowing in the evening and early morning. Waves on the lake Saturday night and early Sunday morning will likely be moderate easterly swells (White Rock Bay will offer protection from these swells).   Sunday may bring another scenario with moderate, mid 80's temperatures and a possibility of a nice northerly wind flow by afternoon for a trip back to the marina.  (this is only a guess from the most recent charts.  We will update Sunday's forecast on Saturday morning).  The Jordan river current is running moderate.
 
Great Salt Lake Marina Forecast
The Great Salt Lake Marina is another story.  Temperatures will be above average.  Skies will be clear.  Winds will be light to calm with a chance of thermals in the late evening and early mornings.  Possible light northerly flow on Sunday.
The Goggins Drainage Current is running moderate to strong.
 
Water temperatures will continue to climb and will likely be in the low 80's by Saturday mid day.
 
Great Salt Lake Marina and Antelope Island Marina will monitor VHF channel 16.  Please remember that this channel is for emergency and hailing use only.  Once making contact with another party please move to a working channel like 68 or 69.
 
White Rock Bay is one of the better anchorages on the lake but remember that White Rock itself is a rookery and is off-limits.
