Well, the day has finally come.  The lake level is now going down.  This is, unfortunately, two weeks earlier than I was hoping.  Mother Nature has dealt us a tough hand this year.

The mouth of the marina is 4.5’.  For those that can get out please get your sailing in.  For those that are trapped inside it is now time to pull our boats out and anticipate successful dredging efforts.

Crane day is April 23rd and 24th.  There are 78 boats on the list.  I hope to get all those boats out on Thursday and Friday.  It will be long days in order to do that but we will try.  If we have to go into Saturday we will.

And those with drafts over three feet that are not on the April Crane Day will need to pull on the May Crane Day (Date to be announced very soon).  The fairway between J and K dock is as shallow as the marina mouth.  That means we are already only 4.5’ deep down that fairway.

Let us look to late summer dredging and some great Fall sailing.
