This video was shared with me by one of our slip renters.  It shows the effect of lightning striking a sailboat in Boston harbor.  We have a lot of lightning strikes on Great Salt Lake during the summer months.  I have personally seen one of our buoys struck by lightning.  It is nothing to mess around with.  Please take weather forecasts and dark clouds seriously.
