The Marina Mouth is open again and you can, once again, access the lake from the Great Salt Lake Marina.

With the help of Great Salt Lake Brine Shrimp Co-op, and DNR Parks Region Crew we were able to remove several large boulders from the hump area marked with the Diamond Hazard pole.  Preliminary testing indicates we were successful in reducing the depth in that area once the rocks were removed but I urge EXTREME Caution and prudent speeds in that area until the silt clears out and we can do further testing on depths.  That will take a couple days.

There are still several small rocks in the area but they are ad deeper depths and shouldn’t pose a problem from what we can see at this time.
