Wow, the Turkey Fest was a great social with awesome food. Over 150 people showed up. That is nearly double last year.
And we have another social on its way. It is the oldest lasting tradition at the Great Salt Lake Marina.
It’s the Bottom-of-the-Pit Chili cookoff! Saturday, December 21st from 11am to 3pm.
This event is to celebrate the Bottom-of-the-Pit (shortest day of the year) and the beginning of a new sailing season.
Come by and bring your favorite chili recipe to share. There will be prizes for best tasting, most original and hottest (spiciest). If you don’t have a chili recipe but would like to bring a stew or other sides please do.
Come and visit your friends, socialize, swap stories and just enjoy yourself.
