Water Shut Off

GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users; The time has finally come. We will be turning the water off to the docks Saturday morning. It is also time to clean up the docks around your boats. Please remove all dinghies, hoses and anything else from the docks. Make sure power cords are not obstructions for shoveling snow. Please take your hoses home if possible or make sure they are hung up off the docks so the kids will be able to safely shovel without having tripping hazards. We will leave the pump-a-head on through the weekend and will shut it off Sunday night. We will have it back on during select weekends during the winter. And remember to set your clocks back Saturday night. RC Sailboat Racing will happen this Sunday. We will be going to the new schedule of 3pm to 5pm. Thank you. Important notices and updates

GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users. As you all painfully know, the lake is low this year. It isn't as low as three years ago but it is close. But the good news is that we should be done dropping this year and may actually be climbing back up. The pump-a-head is not working. We will try to fix it either Monday or Tuesday. You all are just going to have to hold your "crap" for a day or two. We will be turning the water off here very soon. It is scheduled to be turned off at the first of November. Please plan accordingly. But because of the pump-a-head failure, we will keep that turned on until it just gets too cold to run it anymore. After that we will turn the pump-a-head on during select weekends in the winter. The freezeless faucet at the service dock will stay on all winter. Crane day is fast approaching. GSL Slip Renters and Marina Users. GSLMARINA.com is back up. Many of you were able to view it while others were not. I was not able to link in to amend forecasts since I was one of those that couldn't access the site. The server does not know what happened but said it appeared to be one of those "things". Unfortunately I was also not able to get my mail for the last three days so when they came through today I was expecting to be inundated with emails from slip renters and others. But I found out I'm just not that important because the only ones that seemed to miss me were the advertisers and spammers. Anyway, my normal email accounts are back up and working. Missed you all.
