Great Salt Lake Users and Friends,
Coalition to Keep the Great Salt Lake Great Presentation: This will be a historical look at the Great Salt Lake and the impacts of various uses. It will be a great opportunity for club members, marina users and others to get a perspective on the fragile Lake environment, the threats due to pollution and miss-use and why the GSLYC is supporting the coalition. We will be brought up to date on the most recent activities and legal actions of the Coalition in opposing industrial expansion and water quality impacts to the Lake.
This is a topic that effects us all, whether you boat on the GSL or not. Bring your family, tell your friends!
The presentation, the fourth in the 2011 edition of the Great Salt Lake Yacht Club's FREE Boating Seminars, will be held Wednesday night, March 2, at 7:00 PM in the Kearns Library, located at 5350 S 4220 W in Kearns. 4220 West St. is the second light west of Bangerter Highway on 5400 South (Kearns Blvd.). Turn north on 4220 W. from 5400 S. and the library is on your left. Parking is on the east and west sides of the building.
