There's a virus (or several) that travel via the instant messaging programs that does that. Personally, I only check my email over secure connections. I know some who use public WiFi to do it, but I'd rather take a data charge and be safe. Richard
Gmail acct was not affected, think it was a hack vs virus. Do not use instant messaging.
