I walked into my favorite bookstore today to get the new Cook book, first of that fantasy trilogy he mentioned couple years ago, "Tyranny of the Night", as Amazon alerted me to the fact of its existence (but I'd much rather patronize a local St. Louis shop, one of the few independent book stores still around). And lo and behold, there's a new Garrett book out as well, "Whispering Nickel Idols"!

I had a similar experience -- a very nice surprise.

Ah, the things I miss by not being able to receive this list. Why is it spam-filtered by my university? I sure wish I knew how to get around it.

I'd suggest getting a Hotmail, Gmail, or Yahoo email account and receiving it there. :-) Steve
