Re: [Glencook-fans] Glencook-fans / Black Company as TV series
I like Eliza D - but, I'm not sure she's right for Lady. Lady isn't 'waiflike' in my mind, she has more 'presence'. Regardless of physical size, Lady is BIG, she commands attention in those early books - possibly through a glamor - but still, she's the focal point. So long as Croaker looks like a balding murderous child-killer (which is how he describes himself at some point) I'm curious to see how they port the story from novel to TV. mr
The real interest for me will be who plays the rest of the cast. On Apr 25, 2017 13:01, "Michele Riccio via glencook-fans" < glencook-fans@mailman.xmission.com> wrote:

It wasn't Croaker who said that but Murgen - who said that Croaker never realised that he looked that way. And who knows? Maybe Croaker was. That could have been the reason he didn't say "hello" to the woman who was almost definitely his sister when he reached his home town in the first Book of the South. The man he had been was dead to his family and wasn't going to welcomed back by his family no matter how much fame and wealth he returned with.
