Boy and I glad somebody here linked to the Wiki...
Greetings, fellow Cook fans! I've been trying to get into this mailing list for about 2 years now, and keep getting broken links. Finally managed to find a way in after noticing a hit on the site from the archive page. I'm the guy who runs the Wiki, you're all welcome to come along. The Interview has been posted, in transcript form, anyway. Seems none of my friends & family were thoughtful enough to have a Video-IN card, so I can't get the damned thing off analog media yet.
If you send me a fair video tape copy (VHS will do) my mac will turn it into just about any non- windows specific video file you want. Worst case I can then send it to a pc on my network an shoehorn it into a windows specific file if you need that... ---Henry. -----Original Message----- From: glencook-fans-bounces+hcdavis=davislawoff.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:glencook-fans-bounces+hcdavis=davislawoff.com@mailman.xmission.c om]On Behalf Of J. All I've got is the Hi8 tape I recorded it on. I want to do some cropping and such on it, so ideally I would love to get an uncompressed avi, so I can throw it into VirtualDub and fix it up, crop, shrink, and compress, probably with DivX and/org OGG. Email me off-list if you're able to do something like this. Thanks! -Buckaroo Henry C. Davis wrote:

Hi Buck, Maybe you could add this mailing list to your wiki ? I have been reading this mailing list for four years and can remember the days there was a post every single day. The list broke at some point which killed off most of the traffic and now months go by between posts. It would be great to return the list to its glory days. Graham At 06:07 AM 24/10/2006, you wrote:

I was actually considering setting up my own listserv - as I had figured this one dead. Like I said, I've been trying to get in for a while :> but all the links seemed broken. If I do, it'll have the actual glencook.org domain. Let me know if that's acceptable to the group, and I'll get it set up. Otherwise, I'll set up links to the archive and subscription pages (if I can find it again). -Buckaroo Graham Allen wrote:

I'd prefer to see there just be one mailing list (this one) since there are quite a few lurkers here who might not join if it's moved. Perhaps the links for joining the list can be fixed. Steve
I'm with Steve on this one. Although I was begining to think the list was broken again when we recently had a post. I guess everyone knows that the second IotN book is available for pre-order and it showing up on Amazon with a 2/20/07 release date. Links are up, near the bottom of the front page. Thanks for the feedback - keeps me from having to run a mailing list! -J. Buck Caldwell Don wrote:
