The next Dread Empire book has been announced! A Path to Coldness of Heart<http://www.nightshadebooks.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=222>should be out early next year. The blurb says that it is the conclusion to the Dread Empire saga, but doesn't state that it is the final volume. The "conclusion" to The Wheel of Time is spread over three books. I wonder if there could be one more book, a grand finale to the Dread Empire. Yeah, probably not, but the original plan was to have two books after An Ill Fate Marshalling, so I can hope...

We can always hope. After all, Glittering Stone was the conclusion of the Books of the South trilogy - and it was well worth the wait. Richard
