I took a big chunk out of the book last night, it's good. Changes happen, people die, plots advance in unexpected directions, people do strange things, the Night keeps things stirred up. And yeah, there's gonna be a 4th book. I can tell from this side of the halfway mark. -- Veteran, Bermuda Triangle Expeditionary Force, 1993-1951
Then I should wait until the paperback comes out. I hate having half in hardback and half in paperback. Guilded Latten Bones was great! Neat twists and turns. May have put the series back on track! Do we see a lot of Helspeth Egge? I really enjoy her moments in the series. And Cook probably has the fourth one done by now. Over a year ago he was hard at work at it, and planning to title it Working the Gods' Mischief. On Fri, Nov 19, 2010 at 8:51 AM, Michael Llaneza <maserati@speakeasy.net>wrote:

A fair amount, the Grail Empire features pretty strongly in this one. Never mind why.

I have very few Hard Covered authors - the people who I have to rush and buy their books in hard cover, then (usually a year later) buy it in soft cover so I can lend it to friends. I have general rule about authors on that list - the moment I finish a book and say "I could have waited for the paperback for this merely adequate novel" I remove the author from my Hard Covered list. Cook is one of the very few on that list and he has been on it longer than any other author. Which means I need to pick up this book ASAP. Richard
