Nothing of consequence to say other than that I'm halfway through TotN. Basically sending this out as a test. John
John, Hasn't been much said here of late. I hope the test works out :) I've been meaning to reread TotN just to work out the geography, but not done so yet. Steve/Stacey On Jul 21, 2005, at 10:07 PM, John F. Sachse wrote:

My wife and I are heading out on the first vacation we've had in two years (since I started my "new" job). It's our 11th anniversary. I've got TotN in my suitcase (along with the new Harry Potter) and am looking forward to some awesome reading time, sans kids, pets, dishes, work, and all other distractions. Can't wait! Cool, have a great time! :-) My family is going on a week-long vacation too. I bought the new Harry Potter, thinking that I'd read it while on the trip, but I'm mostly done already. Like the others, it's a fairly light read and goes fast, but is fun. Tyranny of the Night, on the other hand, is pretty dense and requires focus to keep track of all the factions, cities, and people (like a lot of Cook books). It didn't really start to gel for me until about half way through, but you may fare better since you'll have long stretches at a time to read. Steve
