Hi, I have been reading both Locus and SF Chronicle: SF, Fantasy & Horror Trade Journal for a long time. That is how I found out sometime last October that Glen Cook had delivered both the Whispering Nickel Idols (Garrett P.I. Book #11), and The Tyranny of the Night (Instrumentalities of the Night Book #1) to the publisher for publication in 2005 (May & June 2005 respectively). I have yet to see any other Glen Cook books having been delivered to the publisher, but that does not mean they have not. If you check the Brit web site below, you can see that the book, Dreams of Steel (Black Company: Book of the South Book #2) was reissued during May 2005. I assumed that book #1 was reissued too. Most of the time this happens when an author's new book comes, his older books are reissued in conjunction with new releases. http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/authors/Glen_Cook.htm I also find this web site and excellent place to go and research one's favorite authors. Richard, Thanks for your help. I am now back on the list.
Now that the new Glen Cook trilogy is (I believe done) and the Garrett novel in print, I am expecting Glen Cook to start work on a new Black Company book.
