I've mentioned this before, but Rob Howell, who helps edit these anthologies, is an old friend of Glen. Rob's also the friend of a friend of mine, I saw Rush in St. Louis with him back in 2015. 

I think I read in this message group that Glen had some bad experiences with anthology editors 15 years or so ago. But Rob knows Glen from the St. Louis sci-fi fandom scene of long ago, so he works carefully with Glen to keep him happy and busy writing more Black Company stories.
