Respectfully, disagree. Cook's Garrett books keep getting more and more convoluted and
have finally started bringing back old characters. He has created "semi" star roles for Saucerhead,
Playmate and Belinda. He has them taking on more and more of a life of their own and interacting
with Garrett, on the same level that Morley Dotes does. And I miss the GD Parrot.

And I like the new Instrumentalities of the Night, a fun twist on our histories, with magic.

Actually, I'd say he was getting worse. Glen peaked in the early
nineties and has gone downhill since.
Probably about the time he bought a computer to write with.

Cruel Zinc Melodies was flat and the whole story can be summed up in
two words, "Tinnie glared."
