So. I've read Port. I've enjoyed Port. It's good to have Croaker back as narrator.
However, I agree it's a bit coarser and the narrative voice seems...off. Part of that can be attributed to the Croaker's memory problems and part of it to the changes in past and present narration.
I wish we know who was narrating the Postscript. There are throwaway lines in there that'll cause me fits of trying to figure things out on reread after reread. "...wars among the Taken."? The Taken all fell at the Barrowland!
What happened to Two Death?! To Third? Come on, I'm dying here!
