All the other Garrett books are published by Penguin/Roc, and as mass-market (small) paperbacks. Those are now basically a thing of the past. So how to publish book 15 of a series, and the first in around a dozen years? 

They did three omnibus editions, each with three of the first nine Garrett novels. The answer could be to release two more, with Last Metal Romance as the third book in the fifth omnibus.
