Cook said in one of his online interviews (there&#39;s several up on Youtube) that he expected to be done writing Garrett #14 by the end of 2011. Then he would finish up Working the Gods&#39; Mischief in early 2012, before writing the rest of A Pitiless Rain (the next Black Company book, the two short stories published in the last two years are the first two chapters). <br>

I should have my copy of this soon. I think ebook versions are already being distributed. Amazon lists the hardcopy edition for release on January 10, while Barnes &amp; Noble still lists the release date as January 17. <br>

However, I pre-ordered with B&amp;N, and a shipping label was generated on December 31. The holiday means that the order won&#39;t actually ship out until tomorrow, January 3, but the book should be in my hands by the end of this week. I can hardly wait!<br>
