A Path to Coldness of Heart & more

I've finally started reading (after finishing the short stories). I generally don't care for recaps in stories, but these seem more informative and useful than most I've read. An Empire Unacquainted (just noticed it's spelled Unacquanted in the e-version) with Defeat - I really liked the Vengeful Dragon stories. Might be the first person similar to Black Company (my most favorite) or the different tale within the Dread Empire world. Or both. Apologies if this has been posted before, but where can I get Black Company eBooks (nook preferred)? I have Soldiers Live.
