This is from Ryan Gardner, Hello my beloved cousins. I'm praying mightily for little Rylee. I'm not sure if my mom (Mitsi) has told any of you yet, but now having her permission to do so, with that in mind- she went in to have a mass removed from her rear end a few weeks ago. The surgeon who did it was concerned somewhat and could not get all of it out so she sent it in for a biopsy. It came back as being cancerous. She went in to see a great specialist 2 weeks ago who then scheduled her for surgery last Friday to finish removing the tumor and also remove lymph nodes from her pelvic region. The surgery went well and she stayed in the hospital overnight, coming home last Saturday. She has been here since, and is recovering. She has a drain line in her and can walk very short distances using a walker. I've been at home tending to her and it has been a real blessing being able to do so. The Spirit has been in abundance and many blessings poured out. Our ward has been amazing with the love and generosity. The Sacrament has been administered in the home twice now and it is a very special experience. Jeff and Kelly's wives have cooked up some amazing meals for her (and me) She is in good spirits. Can't sit for now. She goes in for followup on Tuesday. She may have a bladder infection so we have her on meds for that now. She and I pray for all of you in our nightly family prayers.
