Kennedy, the Hospitalist came to visit with us. Papa has a partial tear in his Quad Ligament. He has a Posthorn Meniscus tear. He also has a Ruptured Baker Cyst. All in his right leg. With all that, no wonder he's hurting. Just now Dr Tyson came in. No surgery. Can't tell if the tears are old or not. Pain would indicate at least some of it is new. They will give him a knee imobilizer that will help with pain when he is up/walking. Don't need to wear it while sitting/sleeping. He is set to go to orchard cove tomorrow. 👍🏻They did a chest X-ray cause Kennedy (hospitalist)wanted to make sure there was no pneumonia before she releases him. They can usually keep them there at orchard cove 2-3weeks, depending on his progress.
The X-rays for pneumonia were because his oxygen level was lower than when he was admitted.

THANK YOU to Blaine and Val for covering the nights at the hospital with Dad! THANK YOU to Elaine, Annie & Barb for spending your days at the hospital! And everyone else who has visited! Someone has been with him every minute since he was admitted. I'm sure Dad gets better care from the hospital staff when they know family is with him and advocating for him. Today Dad got extra special care from the physical therapist. He treated Dad like family. It was Megan Paget's big brother! And his nurse today was one of my former ward members. She said to him "Blaine Gardner was my bishop, but you're not him!" On 4/18/2017 8:04 PM, Carol Carroll wrote:

This is Matt. Sooo...last night grandma and I used the key from the keybox by the shop to get in. Grandma insisted that I not make another trip down to put it away and she would take care of it in the morning. She must have put it somewhere "safe" because it's nowhere to be found this morning. So, keep an eye out and carry your own key until it's back. Thanks, and sorry! Matt On Apr 18, 2017 8:56 PM, "Blaine S Gardner" <blaine@xmission.com> wrote:
