I can check on dad tomorrow and see if we can get them to look at it. They aren't in on Friday but would come in for an emergency...sounds like it qualifies.

When I was up there this evening, he asked me to do some dentistry! He wanted me to file down a sharp edge with a diamond knife sharpener. Before I did, I told him a condition of my helping was that he get to Dr. Pitt, and get some qualified help. He said "Dr. Pitt will just want to fix things right, and I'm too old for that."

I told him: No, you're not, and you do need to go get it fixed right!

The sharp "tooth" edge that was bothering him looked to be a piece of metal poking up. I did take a few light passes with the diamond stone, and he said it felt a bit better. I nudged him again about getting to Dr. Pitt, and he said that the tooth reminds him frequently. Can we get Dr. Pitt added to his medical to-do list?
