[Dad & Mom] About Dad

Hey siblings, On Thursday while Dad was in the bathroom a grab bar broke while he was putting weight on it. He didn't fall, but stumbled to catch his balance. He made it back to his chair, but has had increasing pain in his right knee and hip. Yesterday and today he's been unable to put weight on his right side. He said it feels like if he does his bones will shatter. The pain is getting increasingly worse. Dad really felt like he couldn't go on hurting like that and it's concerning that he can't bear weight. So Matt & I are with Dad at Lakeview's ER. He's had some IV pain meds & is now getting xrays. He was in better spirits as they were taking him back for crags. I'll keep you posted as things progress. Love, Annie
