I fully support both of you. I'd rather have nothing than to have any contention at all. Maybe we should've followed MeMe's "if there's something you want, write your name on it!".

I think we’ve been doing a pretty good job of Conversation at Mom’s place most evenings this last week. Chaotic, and maybe even a bit unruly at times. 

And I’ve been a bit uncomfortable divvying up Mom & Dad’s stuff while Mom is still with us. But MOM ASKED US TO DO IT. She asked to start giving her stuff away while she was still here. 

So as long as we continue in the spirit of honoring her request, I’m ok with any suggestions, directions or guidance from any and all of my sisters and brothers as to how best to proceed.

I know there was a list made for larger items, and while I’m good with requests, I think it should be to Blaine and Carolyns children and then as they want for their kids it goes through the parent. For instance if I chose the chop saw as something I really want then Its up to me if I want to give my choice to briton. And if I knew Blaine really wanted the chop saw, I’d let him chose it over me for briton. (And no, briton does not want a chop saw.😂) I know there is a lot of stuff and many opportunities to find what will bring a memory or connection with grandparents. I’d be happy to send out this list and be that connection, but ideally would be to gather and talk.
