One of the cutest things was watching Zach teach Poppa how to work the remote control. It controls the lights, bed, and tv!

I'm home now. Blaine is staying the night with Dad at the hospital. Blaine & Val gave Dad a blessing at Mom's request. 

Dad will have another CT scan in the morning. Today he had xrays on his knee & hip and CT scan on tailbone. Tomorrow's CT scan will be on knee & hip again. The Drs didn't feel they had enough info yet.

On Thursday while Dad was in the bathroom a grab bar broke while he was putting weight on it. He didn't fall, but stumbled to catch his balance. He made it back to his chair, but has had increasing pain in his right knee and hip. Yesterday and today he's been unable to put weight on his right side. He said it feels like if he does his bones will shatter. The pain is getting increasingly worse.

Dad really felt like he couldn't go on hurting like that and it's concerning that he can't bear weight. So Matt & I are with Dad at Lakeview's ER. He's had some IV pain meds & is now getting xrays. He was in better spirits as they were taking him back for crags.

I'll keep you posted as things progress.
