FOTD -- August 20, 2009 (Rating 4) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image rates a 4. Normally, a fractal with such a low rating would never qualify as a FOTD. But for some reason I kind of liked what I found when I made a slight zoom into yesterday's image. I could rate the image no higher than a 4 because it actually is a repeat, but those who enjoy variations on a theme may find a bit of pleasure in the hastily colored image. The name "A Second Look" says it all. The brief calculation time of 2 minutes means little time will be wasted in taking a second look. Perhaps the best way of taking that second look is to view the finished image on the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> Another muggy day with a temperature of 90F 32C here at Fractal Central on Wednesday was put to rest when a gust of cool air arrived from the north at 5pm, dropping the temperature to 75F 24C. The threatening cloud that accompanied the gust passed over harmlessly. The fractal cats approved. As might be expected, my day was very busy.
