FOTD 27-10-09 (Space Exploration [7])
FOTD -- October 27, 2009 (Rating 7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image exists in the parent fractal that magically appears when 0.4 part of Z^(-0.8) is subtracted from Z^2 and (1/C) is added. This fractal is a grossly oversized networky thing with a curiously distorted Mandeloid near its origin. Today's image is located in the vicinity of this Mandeloid. I rated the image, perhaps a bit liberally, at a 7. Actually, the image is little more than just another minibrot with a quirky pattern around it. The name "Space Exploration" refers to something that will never happen in our lifetimes. The calculation time of a relatively brief 3-2/3 minutes may be eliminated entirely by checking the FOTD web site at: <http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/FotD/FotD.html> where the finished image is posted for immediate enjoyment.
