Okay, Jim. But what does the "quadratic" part of "quadratic midget" mean?
By a quadratic midget, I mean any midget shaped like a miniature classic Mandelbrot set, which is created by the quadratic formula Z^2+C. In quadratic midgets the surrounding elements split in two as they approach the midget. When I mention cubic midgets, I refer to midgets with two main lobes, shaped like the Z^3+C Mandeloid. In these midgets, the elements triple in number at every split. The midget drawn by your parameter file is of the sixth order, (Is this order called hexic?), with five main lobes and elements that split into six smaller versions at every split. Jim M.
