Has the Fractint list finally gone belly up? I've seen nothing more recent than January 26th. John W.
John, Albrecht and I are currently working on solving a problem in Microsoft's old train simulator system. - Hal Lane ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## -----Original Message----- From: Fractint [mailto:fractint-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of John Wilson Sent: Thursday, February 18, 2016 11:46 PM To: Fractint and General Fractals Discussion <fractint@mailman.xmission.com> Subject: [Fractint] R.I.P? Don't know about the list. There's not been a lot of email since Albrecht took his marbles and went home. I've been too busy to make a fractal for awhile, I have one I did awhile back that I like and should put online. Not fancy, just one I like. Would like to do more, but "life is what happens while you have other plans." ;) -- David W. Jones gnome@hawaii.rr.com authenticity, honesty, community http://dancingtreefrog.com
Well, since A. threw his latest tantrum, things have been quiet. Not the first time for either situation. But let's not pronounce it dead. Just taking a breather. I still intend on posting when I get the time and inspiration simultaneously. Not that I have anything earthshaking... long live Fractint! I've been too busy for years, haven't been active since 2004. Can't afford to retire. If I ever win the lotto I'll be back with a vengeance. I am still around as well. Like most every one else, I have too many things going on to do them all. I do plan to post some new fractals soon. -- Mike Frazier www.fracton.org
