Sebastien Helie sent me an email with an interesting new fractal parameter file in it. He said:

I ... wish to the group a merry christmas I agree with him about the fractal being pretty nifty, so, below are his parameter file and a link to an animated gif of his fractal on my server.

It's a "passes=o" (orbital) which I have not used before. Interestingly, different pixel resolutions (image horizontal and vertical sizes) give slightly different versions of his fractal. I used Richard's Fractint for Windows beta 5 (not for general release; now renamed Iterated Dynamics). Even 1280x960 size images continue to evolve over time in a pleasing way. To try to reproduce a little of that "flavor," I saved his image approximately every two seconds, and combined the ten versions into an animated gif of the evolving fractal. You *really* need to view the animation at full size. If the browser shrinks it, all the pixels' colors are muted, and the curved arrays of single pixels get blurred.
