FOTD -- February 04, 2014 (Rating A-4,M-3) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Today's image is a quickie diversion in the environs of a minibrot on the main spike of the Mandelbrot set, not far from its tip. The ratings for the image are so low because there is little to the art and nothing new in the math. The name "Out on a Limb" refers to the location of the scene. The temperature rose from 1F -17C at sunrise to an afternoon high of 28F -2C. The fractal cats did their best to keep warm by chasing each other up and down the hallway from the kitchen to the living room. Meanwhile, the humans had other stuff to do.
