The Maryland web site is outdated. The Wye Oak, which is illustrated, no longer exists. It blew down in a storm two years ago. The measurements I gave of the tree near Fractal Central are rough estimates, likely subject to some exaggeration. One of these days I might take more accurate measurements, but today is not the day. Of more immediate concern is the impending cicada invasion. Jim M.
