FOTD -- December 16, 2009 (Rating 5) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Another very busy day here at FC on Tuesday put a damper on the FOTD, but I still managed to squeeze out an acceptable, (at least IMO), FOTD. The parent fractal is an everyday Mandelbrot set with two main stems instead of the usual single one. Today's image is located in the chaotic area between the two large minibrots on the two main stems. The result rates an average 5. The name "Seasonal Greetings" is a slight variation of that over-used holiday greeting. And the calculation time of a minuscule 12 seconds will bring all the joy usually associated with this time of year. The fractal cats took the missing sun as a sign of cold temperatures, though it actually reached a high of 48F 9C. My day was once again quite busy. The next FOTD is due in 24 hours.
