Formula functions (fnx)
Anyone: Need information about the number of functions allowed per formula. I have been doing some experimenting with writing formulas, and have hit a snag with the <function> part. There seems to be a limit of four function entries per formula, and yet I distinctly remember seeing formulas with six (6) functions. I eyeballed the docs but came up blind, whence this e-mail. Is it possible that the version of fractint I am using is the problem? If so, which earlier version allowed six functions? If there is an obvious answer (solution) to this I would appreciate finding out. And while I have your attention......has anybody figured out yet how to sort .map files, regardless of rotation? I got a python script from Edwin Young, but can't get the thing to run. Keeps telling me there is an error. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated David M Fisher sunfish@intercom.net

The most function variables (fn1 - fn4) the formula parser in Fractint has ever had is four. Jonathan
