Albrecht, I enjoyed your collection of images named Mandelmania that used your mfr_10.frm formula a lot. You said:

I think you may be referring to the one image with a different color map: 20202-8C.GIF It's a very subtle map and I like its brass, blued steel, and dirty chrome color tones a lot. As an experiment I put the two different colorings of the same fractal: 20202-7.GIF and 20202-8C.GIF into two adjacent tabs of my browser, and rapidly switched between viewing each image of the pair. Interestingly, certain areas of each fractal are brought out more clearly in one of the fractals than the other, which became much more apparent when I "blinked" between viewing each of the two images. I just discovered that: 22222-12.GIF and 22222-13.GIF are the same image with *very* different color maps! With a little imagination, I can see 22222-13.GIF as a goblin with green circular eyes with black pupils, two blue nostrils and a gaping mouth -- perhaps with a handlebar moustache... - Hal Lane ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## Author: Albrechtx Date: 2013-10-29 To: Fractint Subject: [Fractint] Mandelmania HI, : Mandel zooming is extremely fascinating and it´s not the first time I discover that. Some years ago there was a series named Mandelmania and I´m using that name again, but the images are much better this time. Still learning and the software has improved. One image is something extra special - check it out. : All mandel images are in a new folder - link below. : https://www.dropbox.com/sh/71cistem4fdadr4/N_tWBOvOOJ : Albrecht ==========Start Parameter================================================== . . . =========================================================================== --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
