Somr fractal .pars zipped (now with accompanying .frm files)
Lee, Here is the .zip file which now has the .par and .frm files enclosed. The only change is sf70270, which is deleted because I can not get the .par to display with @shift in fractint. All I get is a background screen without data. I do not know why, because the .gif display works ok. I put all the formulae in the .zip file just in case others have the same problem, but with different ones than you did. Let me know if it is all good. Take it light, or anyway you can get it. David M Fisher sunfish@intercom.net PS Delete the original, or overwrite it, with the .zip in this e-mail. DMF

This could be caused by having two versions of the formula (FISH0001) in two different files. I'm not exactly sure how the logic works, but if the search for the formula is finding the wrong one first, that would explain why the PAR doesn't generate the correct image. I can't explain why the GIF would find the correct formula. I would guess that there are probably two different search mechanisms. Jonathan
Jonathan; If you'd like, and I am allowed, I will post the .gif picture on the list as an attachment. See if you can get it to work, or if not, let me know why. Is this ok with you? Am I allowed to post a full picture as an attachemnt? Maybe just once? I do not believe this list is setup to allow attached images to be posted. But if you do not have a website to upload images to for others to view and/or download from, you are welcome to send me the image and I can make it available to everyone by then supplying a URL to it. That wouldn't be up to me. Why don't you email me the gif, and formula file. I'll see if I can figure out what the problem is. Hmm, you should include your sstools.ini file, also. Thanks. Jonathan
