Yes. I can confirm with 100 percent certainty that the "Julia Snake" image has no true Mandelbrot midgets hidden in it. The image is a Julia set, and Mandelbrot-type midgets are impossible in Julia sets. It well might have open areas of various shapes hidden somewhere in it, and some of these open areas may resemble Mandelbrot midgets, but if so, the resemblance is coincidental. The object is not a Mandelbrot midget. Next FOTD in about 12 hours. Jim M.
