Multifractal_10 (War - Zoom into "Islands in the Sun")
Hi, I´m not sure about your reactions to this one. It´s not a pretty one, can´t be with that title, but very unusual indeed. Please tell me what you think. Thanks. Personally I wonder why you made this one from such a wonderful primary fractal. War? I suppose so. What happened to the beautiful "32-bit" coloring I found in the original, which allowed me to make my "painting on glass"? I think that the fractal I submitted is the finest I've ever, (personally), made. Thank you for the fractal garden! Hi, John
Personally I wonder why you made this one from such a wonderful primary fractal. War? I suppose so.>>
It was there from the beginning, I didn´t change anything. Zoom out and you have the original image again. It´s like in real life, the "multifractal universe" (Lee´s expression) exists because several pieces come together and build something new. If there were no ugliness the word beauty would loose it´s sense. If there were no war, peace wouldn´t be something worth fighting for. Imagine that they did nuclear tests on a tropical island... When I look at this image, I see heat - like glowing metal or the surface of a star. Although there is not a lot of variations of color, I find the shapes and patterns very interesting. Perhaps using a logmap would allow a greater range of colors, but that's just a guess. I do see an interesting dinosaur/dragon shape in black about 1/3 of the way from the top and 1/4 of the way from the right side tiled downward on a slope of around 30 degrees. Lee Skinner
