I had to go around poking in Google cache to see what this was about. I see he does go to some effort making sure the email addresses are hidden and mangled. I hope everyone knows that once in google it is nearly impossible to get it taken out. I once posted my email address by accident into newsgroups. I filled out all the forms I needed and sent them in, but it turns out I needed an electronic signature to get rid of it. They want me to have one of those electronic gizmos so I could send them my real signature! Forget that. If they have my real signature, that is worse than my email address. Turns out I got very little spam on that email address anyway. Paul should just forget about posting the email address. If one has to have it, they can do a search for the name in the list archives and find the email address that goes along with it. I just did it with google on my own name within the list and it works great. But if its that easy to find then the point is moot. email addresses can be harvested straight from the list anyway. Don't get me wrong. I'm not belittling anyones feelings - if they want their email address off the web page then it should be taken off.
