Re: [Fractint] Mike Frazier Question
. ""I looked at the Universe#3 one at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vnLG45dVPs That was awesome. A complete zoom on the negative x spike with over 5000 frames. There were several really nice fractals along the way. How long did it take you to do it? What was the final magnification? "" That was actually an earlier effort, not so good as you see "jerk" frames; that was before I learned to tweak the "bfdigits" parameter in fractint. That isnt my page BTW - someone "borrowed" it and posted - no problem as they give proper credit. Better versions are on the UFVP website or my page: youtube.com/fractalkemist That one goes to E+89, Universe-6Z goes to E+112. It took over 2 years on 4 systems. Interesting progression of concentric circles, getting ever more complex. The "kidney" and "Alien Eggs" are seen, and the Period Doubling effect is well illustrated. I think a zoom into Muth's fractal would look pretty much the same, so I decided not to do it. However, the E+129 Par you posted took me 2 hours and change, the E+140 about 6 hours. .
