David,
Setting up mirrors would be something, if one's hosting package has the space & bandwidth.
Good idea, but, hopefully, a mirror site won't be necessary: I spoke with Paul's close friend John Starr, and he said that it was Paul's explicit wish to have his Fractal servers kept online. John is an executor of Paul's estate, but a minor legal holdup is slowing his work down. - Hal Lane ######################## # hallane@earthlink.net ######################## -----Original Message----- From: Fractint [mailto:fractint-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of David Jones Sent: Sunday, February 21, 2016 5:07 PM To: Fractint and General Fractals Discussion <fractint@mailman.xmission.com> Subject: Re: [Fractint] <Ton> Thank you for the information about Paul N. I would gladly contribute towards keeping his servers containing fractal resources running if I knew how to do so. I once talked with a close friend of Paul's when he was ill some time ago, named John Starr, and I'm trying to contact him now.

Hi Jim,
Welcome back.
We all grow older. For those who don't know: Paul N. Lee is no longer with us. He has left this world for a better one. (I hope).

I might be resurrecting the FOTD as the FOT? in the near future.
Glad to see the list has not died in my absence.

Hal, That's wonderful! Something for everyone to think about in this connected day. What happens to your digital online self (FB, Twitter, etc) and creations (even a basic blog)? It should be part of veryone's estate planning. (No matter how young you are! Life can be cut short at any age.) On 02/21/2016 12:46 PM, Harold Lane wrote:

I'm sorry to hear about the demise of Paul.N.Lee . Fractals give us a glimpse at a universe that ranges over vast scales ; and yet we are finite in our existence. I always found Paul to be helpful and supportive. Edward On 22/02/2016 11:46, Harold Lane wrote:
