First of all, you may wish to make sure you have downloaded as many of the FractInt formulas as you can get your hands on, just to be prepared for those that might post a .PAR file without the corresponding .FRM file: http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/OrgForm.html Otherwise, just cut and paste the PAR portion from the posted email into a plain text file using something like Notepad as the text editor. Then save the file with a .PAR extension. Several posted parameters may be in a single .PAR file. Those .PAR files should be in a sub-directory off of your main FractInt directory (where the actual executable exists). You can even use a text editor like Notepad to modify your SSTOOLS.INI file (this is the Configuration file for FractInt) to point to specific directory paths. An example may be found here: http://www.nahee.com/Fractals/FractInt/sstools.ini Other useful collections can be found in the Various Files section of the following URL: http://www.nahee.com/Fractals/FractInt/index.html Sincerely, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
Thank you SO much for taking the time for a newbies question. Lundy On 08/10/06, Paul N. Lee <Paul.N.Lee@worldnet.att.net> wrote:

You may also wish to create a copy of the full document that comes with FractInt. Just use something similar as the following from a DOS prompt: "C:\Program Files\FractInt\FRACTINT.EXE" makedoc It will produce a plain text file that can be viewed with even the simplest of text editors, such as Notepad or Wordpad.
