I was curious about not getting anything from Philofractal (to which I thought I am subscribed), so I tried to send a "help" command to the server. It came back as undeliverable. I just tried to send a test message to Fractal Art and experienced the same lack of response from the server (my email program just sat there idling after what looked like a few preface packet exchanges) that was my first hint that there was something amiss with Philofractal.
