I have uploaded an ISO image of the companion CD to "Fractal Creations 2nd Edition" here: http://www.fractint.org/ftp/iso The CD is for personal use, the same as if you had gotten the CD with the book. The offer of sending a copy of the CD to anyone who sends me a self- addressed stamped mailer with a blank CD still holds. Several people have taken advantage of this. My address is in the fractint online help under "Contacting the Authors". To those who mirror www.fractint.org: the main html file has changed, and there's a new ISO directory. The mirror of fractint.org now takes up a lot more space. :-) I have yet to update my own mirror. Tim

I'm sorry, I gave no explanation. If you have a CD writer, you probably have software that can burn a CD from an ISO image (e.g. Nero or Adaptec Easy CD Creator). This basically gives you a copy of the CD. Alternatively, with the right software, you can open an ISO image an copy files from it. For such a program under Windows, see: http://www.winimage.com/winimage.htm If anyone thinks I should have the individual files from the fractal creations CD online rather than an ISO image, let me know. Most of the files are images from various artists. I'll add explanation to the web site. Tim
