Before I become a shill for the LCD monitor makers, you are probably sitting in front of the strongest source of radiation, . . .
True. My fractal-dedicated P200 machine is equipped with an old-style CRT monitor. And these devices are high radiation emitters, as any radio that picks up the AM band can prove. But all the machines I use in my regular work are equipped with the newer non-CRT monitors. In my original letter I was referring to the microwave radiation emitted by cell phones held against the head. The results of some of the studies that have been done can be found at: http://www.wave-guide.org/library/studies.html I also wonder about the radiation that fills the so-called 'wireless office'. This topic really should be discussed on the philofractal list. Are you subscribed to that list? Jim M.
