The render time of 19 minutes....
START 20.0 PAR-FORMULA FILE================================
QuintesentialMidgt { ; time=0:00:00.00--SF5 on a P200 reset=2003 type=formula formulafile=allinone.frm
The answer is simple -- I forgot to type in the actual, render time, which is 0:19:21.24 Jim (the penitent) M.

Just curious, how come your 'Startup Parameters' in the SSTOOLS.INI file do not already accomplish such for your saved PAR files?? As in the following: COMMENT=time=$calctime$--$vidkey$_on_a_P200 And, ever think of expanding your COMMENT parameter to something like: COMMENT=(c)_Jim_Muth_--_$date$_-_$time$_/ time=$calctime$_on_a_P200_at_$xdots$x$ydots$_/ Video=$vidkey$_using_FractInt_$version$.$patch$ Later, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/

I tried that, noticed that it puts in the version as four digits.one digit, so my 20.2.5 showed up as "2002.5". Still, I like it! David gnome@hawaii.rr.com

ohhh... super!! I´d missed this too, my first sstools.ini in about 10 - 12 years of playing with Fractint :-)). I´m not too lazy to have a look at page 116 (...) on the Fractint.doc, but you certainly got some other good ´sstools.ini´ ideas? Thanks and cheers, Guy

With over 230 pages within the current documentation, it is not difficult for a few items to be missed.

I do not know whether they are good ideas or not, but an example of what I tend to use for my own SSTOOLS.INI file may be found here: http://www.Nahee.com/Software/sstools.ini Sincerely, P.N.L. ------------------------------------------------- http://home.att.net/~Paul.N.Lee/PNL_Fractals.html http://www.Nahee.com/Fractals/
