FOTD -- August 28, 2009 (Rating 7) Fractal visionaries and enthusiasts: Sorry! No philofractal version today. I had no time for philosophy. Due to a work rush, today's discussion is very brief. The image is located in the same parent fractal as yesterday's image, though its character is quite a bit different. Some but not all of the difference was achieved by rendering the image with the outside set to 'tdis'. When all was said and done, I named the image "Spots on a Window" and rated it at a 7. The fast calculation time of 1-1/2 minutes will make the task of calculation a minor pleasure. Heavy clouds with occasional light rain and a temperature of 68F 20C marred Thursday here at Fractal Central. The fractal cats' day was marred by too few treats.
